THE STRUCTURE OF THE FORMWORK
Shields are the main element of prefabricated formwork, mounted on a metal frame made of waterproof laminated plywood. After assembly, the smooth side of the shield faces inward, towards the volume where the concrete will be poured.
In addition to panels, the formwork system includes:
– linear, hinged or corner shields,
– locks for collecting panels,
– tightening screw,
– struts,
– scaffold brackets,
– pins.
When assembled, the wall formwork is a hollow, high-strength structure capable of withstanding the weight of concrete and the effects of vibration-compacting mechanisms.
